Indiana National Guard’s 438th Chemical Company’s colors are held during a color casing ceremony in Indianapolis, Indiana, Feb. 8, 2026. The 438th Chemical Company was constituted on Aug. 25, 1980 and federally recognized on Sept. 1, 1980 in Terre Haute, Ind., as a unit of the 38th Infantry Division.
