Naval Hospital Twentynine Palms has appointed Cmdr. (select) Jasette Marian M. Fong as its new Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Program Director, reinforcing the hospital’s pediatric emergency readiness and commitment to high-quality care. A Pediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist with more than 16 years of Navy experience, Fong aims to ensure 100% PALS certification compliance among nurses and hospital corpsmen while expanding training opportunities across the hospital and Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center. By strengthening certification tracking, increasing instructor capacity, and emphasizing evidence-based, hands-on training, Fong’s leadership will enhance pediatric emergency response, confidence, and clinical readiness throughout the command.
