MARINE CORPS AIR STATION IWAKUNI, Japan – U.S. Marines with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 242 host members of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) and Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF), during a two-day long planning conference. The visit reinforces a long-standing alliance and friendship between the United States and Japan.
